OAK NO. 110

For Keele, we were inspired by the Midlands village of the same name, which was once part of a manor estate. As a result, the planks bring history to life. Hand processing intentionally shows the knots and splits in Keele in their perfect imperfection - the authenticity of the surface is perceptible at the first touch. What is so convincing haptically and visually is down to a complex process, whereby the soft parts of the wood are worked out slowly, piece by piece. Another striking detail are the plane marks that run across some planks and give the floor an additional depth. In combination with the naturally brushed surface, this results in a harmonious overall appearance.
