The particularly eye-catching feature of the Somerset is the play of colours between the boards. This surface is consistently modern-rustic. The saw marks have been deliberately left to show on the floor, as have some water stains that are created when the wood dries naturally. All these elements make the Oak Somerset an authentic floor with plenty of character.
